East Bilney Lakes has temporarily closed to anglers and café-goers, with mystery surrounding the reason for the announcement.

A statement on the site's Facebook page said: "East Bilney Lakes and café are now shut until further notice. It will be reopening in the near future but that date is not confirmed."

The venture near Dereham has asked visitors with bookings to get in contact for refunds.

The reason for the closure is currently unclear.
