A temporary Post Office branch in Fakenham has been forced to shuffle next door as a mysterious new shop is set to move in.
The town's branch moved from 1 Millers Walk to 3 Millers Walk on November 9 after being told a new company was taking over its former home.
But the identity of this new business remains a mystery.
Last month, Henry Cockerton, a partner at Brown & Co, managing agents for Millers Walk,, said: “We have a few vacant properties at Millers Walk, but most have interest.
“We hope to announce a new tenant for the M&Co unit shortly and another long-term tenant is starting in one of the smaller units in November.”
This move also does not stop the search for a new permanent solution for Fakenham.
The pop-up branch has been operating from Millers Walk since February 2020.
The post office will continue to be operated by the same postmaster.
The opening hours remain: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9am – 1pm and 2pm - 5.30pm; Wednesday: 9am – 1pm; Saturday: 9am – 12.30pm.
