It has been half a century since Burnham Market Nursery School welcomed its first youngsters.
This year the nursery is planning to mark the milestone with a series of events - and has called for help from the community.
Elisa Bray, manager, said: "We have many things planned to celebrate this milestone but initially we would like to invite people to share their memories of the nursery, formerly Burnham Market Playgroup.
"Anybody involved with the nursery over this time has played a part in making it the setting that it is today. We feel that we are simply caretaking it for future generations."
Anybody has photos or stories about the nursery to share can email nursery@burnhammarket.norfolk.sch.uk.
Ms Bray added: "Our intention is to build a record that can be shared in years to come."
The nursery has 16 children on its register. It caters mostly for youngsters from the Burnham and the Creakes, but also welcomes them from Thornham, Titchwell, Fakenham and Brancaster.
Coincidentally, the nursery's team of four staff have worked there collectively for 50 years.
