Fly-tippers dumped a load of waste onto a road just outside Fakenham.
North Norfolk District Council's environmental protection team is investigating after the rubbish was found spread across Trap Lane in the town's north.
The incident was reported by an anonymous poster on a Fakenham Facebook group on Wednesday (January 18).
The council confirmed it was looking into the fly-tipping.
An NNDC spokesman said: “The council has been informed about the fly tipping on Trap Lane in Fakenham and our environmental protection team are currently inspecting the waste.
“Once this has been completed it will be cleared as soon as possible.”
